Been tracking the Canucks powerplay numbers and they're converting at 26.8% over the last 12 games, which puts them in the top-8 league-wide during that stretch. Pettersson has 4 PP goals in his last 6 outings and is shooting 18.2% on the man advantage.
Tonight vs Kings the books still have Pettersson anytime goal at +185, but LA gives up 3.4 PP opportunities per game on average. With Quick likely starting (he's allowed 2+ goals in 7 of his last 9), that +185 feels like it's not accounting for the PP efficiency surge.
Anyone else seeing value here?
The Kings penalty kill has been middle-of-the-pack at 78.9% but that's including some stronger home performances. On the road they're closer to 75.2% which should give Vancouver multiple chances with the extra man.
