Been tracking the Canucks powerplay numbers and they're sitting at 26.8% efficiency over their last 15 games, which puts them in the top-8 league-wide during that stretch. Kings are giving up 2.1 goals per game on the penalty kill in their last 10 road games.
Yet I'm seeing Pettersson anytime goal at +185 across most books for tonight's matchup. Kings took 4 minors last game vs Edmonton and average 3.4 penalties per road game this month. With Vancouver's PP1 unit getting 1:47 average ice time per advantage, those odds seem inflated.
Pettersson has 12 powerplay goals in 28 home games this season. At +185, that's implying roughly 35% probability but his actual conversion rate on home PP opportunities is running closer to 43%. Anyone else seeing value here or am I missing something about the Kings penalty kill adjustments?
